The software packages are available for both AIX 5.3 and AIX 6.1. It is recommended that you have the following minimum versions of AIX installed:
- AIX 5.3 TL-07-06 (Read about it IBM fix history here).
- AIX 5.3 TL-08-05 or AIX 5.3 TL-09-04 or AIX 5.3 TL-10-02 or AIX 5.3 TL-11-01
- AIX 6.1 TL-03-01

I am pleased to announce the completion of work from my Advanced Web Design course. A formal Download Manager!
This is a combination of PHP, MySQL and a Java Applet that writes files to a directory you choose. It also provides complete dependency checking so that, technically, you only have to select something like Samba or Apache and all the rest comes along for the ride. You can, of course, select just the package and check the box for no dependencies.

AIX 6.1 specific packages are in the works, but the AIX 5.3 versions work just fine.
The 64-bit code is to be treated as PRODUCTION.
The AIX 5.2 code base is no longer supported.
The Samba Team has announced the end of life for the Samba 3.0 series as of July 2009. Critical bug support will still be provided, but the main focus will now be on Samba 3.3 & 3.4, with bug fixes for 3.2, both of which are also available on this web site.
